Instead of well-known, sweet Mother Goose, we now have Monster Goose in this spooky collection of classic nursery rhymes. Instead of the classics like Mary had a Little Lamb, There Once was a Old Lady, and Hush, Little Baby, we now have Mary had a Vampire Bat, There was an Old Zombie, and Hush, Little Monster!

Evaluation and Comments:

Monster Goose provides such a fun and whacky twist on classic nursery rhymes! I personally love all things spooky so I found myself really enjoying this book and seeing all the ways the author put her scary twist on the nursery rhymes. My personal favorite was Hush, Little Monster so I highly recommend reading that to the class!

This would be great book to read to students during October when students are looking forward to Halloween. It's simple rhymes and funny illustrations will hype up the younger students for Halloween and thus would be a great way to introduce October activities like having student's create their own scary poems. It can also be used to remind students about nursery rhymes by having students name the original version and then stating the differences between the two versions.

In conclusion, Monster Goose has my seal of approval! 🥇😄
