Evaluation and Comments:

In Food Webs, children are provided an engaging and colorful book that provides an abundance of images and information to ensure that they learn/understand what a food web is, what it consists of, and the importance of it.

With the simple text and engaging charts/images, students are able to effectively engage in the book and see the break down of the components of a food web and how it benefits us. For class activities, this book can be coupled with a lesson in which students are learning about food webs and its components, such as producers and consumers. After reading the text, students can go and create their own web, making sure to label each component. Along with that, the book also includes an activity in which students use craft sticks, glue and a small box to find out how a change in a part of the food web can affect the entire web.

In conclusion, Food Webs has my seal of approval! 🥇😄
